WHAT IT IS / WHAT IT DOES

SUDAFED® Head Cold + Sinus is a non-drowsy combination formula designed to provide temporary relief from sinus congestion, pressure, pain, and headaches associated with the common cold or flu. It contains acetaminophen to relieve pain and reduce fever, along with pseudoephedrine hydrochloride to help clear nasal and sinus congestion.

INGREDIENTS

Active Ingredients (per caplet):

– Acetaminophen 500 mg — Pain reliever / Fever reducer

– Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 60 mg — Decongestant

Inactive Ingredients:

Celluloses, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, sodium starch glycolate

RECOMMENDED DOSE

Adults and children 12 years and older:

• Take 1 caplet every 4–6 hours

• Do not exceed 4 caplets in 24 hours

CAUTIONS / WARNINGS

Liver Warning:

Acetaminophen may cause severe or possibly fatal liver damage if you take more than the recommended dose, use with other products containing acetaminophen, or consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks daily.

Do Not Use If:

• You are allergic to any of the ingredients

• You are taking or have taken an MAOI in the past 14 days

• Using other products containing acetaminophen

Ask a Doctor or Pharmacist Before Use If You Have:

• Heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma

• Kidney or liver disease

• Difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Are taking blood thinners such as warfarin

Stop Use and Consult a Doctor If:

• Symptoms last more than 5 days

• Fever lasts more than 3 days

• Nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occurs

• Symptoms worsen or are accompanied by high fever (>38°C) or thick yellow/green phlegm

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, contact a Poison Control Centre immediately.
