Ingredients
15 mg/5 mL Dimenhydrinate Syrup, Citric acid, flavour, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sorbitol, sucrose, water.
Directions
Children under 2 years: as directed by a physician. Children 2 to 6 years: take 1 teaspoon (5 mL) every 6 to 8 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 5 teaspoons (25 mL) in 24 hours. Children 6 to 12 years: take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) every 6 to 8 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 10 teaspoons (50 mL) in 24 hours. Take the first dose at least 1/2 hour and preferably 1 to 2 hours before departure.
Cautions
Do not exceed recommended dosage. Prolonged use should be only on the advice of a physician. Ask a physician if you have glaucoma, chronic lung disease, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. Ask a physician or a pharmacist before use if you take antihistamines, tranquilizers or any other sedating drugs. When using this product avoid driving a motor vehicle or performing tasks requiring mental alertness. May cause drowsiness. May cause excitability, especially in children. If pregnant or breastfeeding ask a health care practitioner before use. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or a health care professional immediately. Store at room temperature below 27°C. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
